Indexes
Every notice published in the London Gazette or a Supplement is indexed quarterly. The index provides another way to find information published in the London Gazette. If you are aware of the type of notice or mention and the approximate time frame the index can be of assistance.
Indexes are organised by type of notice and presented alphabetically. The index entry provides the page number in the London Gazette and as each year the pages in the Gazette from numbered in sequence right through the year (for example from 1 to 15,000) the page can then be found either online or in the printed copy.
Indexes can be inspected in many libraries in the United Kingdom and internationally.
