A19/A1231 JUNCTION – NORTHBOUND EXIT SLIP ROAD IMPROVEMENTS
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT
NOTICE OF DETERMINATION UNDER SECTION105B(1) OF THE HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 (AS AMENDED)
The Secretary of State for the Department for Transport gives notice that he has determined that his proposal to provide a
segregated left turn lane on the northbound A19 exit slip road at the A19/ A1231 Interchange in Sunderland, which is a relevant
project within the meaning of Section105A (1) of the Highways Act 1980 (as amended), is not to be made subject to Environmental
Impact Assessment in accordance with Part VA of the Highways Act 1980 (as amended) implementing directive 85/337/EEC (as amended).
Any comments about this notice should be sent to the Highways Agency at the address given below. Any comments should be made
as soon as possible and received by the Highways Agency by 16 March 2010.
