REVIEW OF THE WELDON CONSERVATION AREA, CORBY
Notice is hereby given that on the 16th June 2009, Corby Borough Council, the local planning authority for the area endorsed
the expansion of the Weldon Conservation Area, Corby, designating the area of special architectural or historic interest the
character or appearance of which it is desirable to preserve or enhance, under Section 69 of the Planning (Listed Buildings
and Conservation Areas) Act 1990.
Further development of this area will be subject to strict planning controls designed to secure the preservation of the character
and general improvement of the area and in accordance with and subject to the provisions of the above Act, the consent of
the planning authority will be required to demolish a building or to cut down, lop, top, uproot or wilfully damage any tree.
