THE LONDON BOROUGH OF HOUNSLOW (20 MPH SPEED LIMIT) (NO. 2) ORDER 2009
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Hounslow on 22 June 2009 made the above-mentioned Order under sections above-mentioned
Order under sections 84(1) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
2. The general effect of the Speed Limit Order will be to impose a speed limit of 20 miles per hour in the roads or lengths of
roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice.
3. A copy of; the Order as made; the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Order; a plan which shows the area to which
the Order relates, can be inspected, until the end of 6-weeks from the date on which this Notice is published, on line at
www.hounslow.gov.uk or at the Forms and Documents Counter at the London Borough of Hounslow main reception, Civic Centre,
Lampton Road, Hounslow TW3 4DN between the hours of 8:45am - 5pm Mondays to Thursdays and 8:45am - 4:45pm Fridays. Further
information may be obtained by telephoning the Council’s Environment Department on 020 8583 3322.
4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or any provision contained therein on the grounds that they are
not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, as amended, or that any of the relevant regulations made
thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was
made, make application for the purpose to the High Court

2. Lower Square, Isleworth, between its junction with Church Street and its junction with Swan Street

4. Mill Platt, Isleworth, from its junction with Church Street north-westwards for a distance of 106.00 metres.
5. North Street, Isleworth, between its junction with Twickenham Road, Isleworth and its junction with Upper Square.
6. Park Road, Isleworth, between the south-eastern wall of No.2 Park Road, Isleworth and its junction with Church Street, Isleworth.
7. Swan Street, Isleworth, between its junction with North Street and its junction with Lower Square.
