THE REDBRIDGE (20 MPH SPEED LIMIT) (NO 2) TRAFFIC ORDER 2009
THE REDBRIDGE (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (AMENDMENT NO 6) ORDER 2009
1. Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Redbridge after consultation with the Commissioner of Police
of the Metropolis, on 1 June 2009 made the above-mentioned Orders in exercise of the powers, conferred by sections 6, 84 and
124, of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of the 20 mph Speed Limit Order will be to introduce a 20 miles per hour speed limit in the roads and lengths
of roads specified in Schedule 1 to this notice.
3. The general effect of the waiting and loading restriction Order will be to further amend the Redbridge (Waiting and loading
restriction) Order 1993 so as to introduce waiting restrictions operative “at any time” on the lengths of streets specified
in Schedule 2 to this notice.
4. Copies of the Orders, which will come into operation on 4 June 2009, of the Order being amended, together with a plan of the
area and the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Orders, along with more detailed particulars of the scheme may
be inspected between 9.00 am and 4.30 pm, on Mondays to Fridays (9.30 am to 4.30 pm on Wednesdays), until the end of 6 weeks
from the date on which the Orders were made, at the Information Centre, Lynton House, 255-259 High Road, llford Essex IG1
1NN.
5. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Orders or any provisions contained therein on the grounds that they are
not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and that any of the relevant requirements thereof or
any of the relevant regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks of
the date on which the Orders were made, make an application for the purpose to the High Court.

Schedule 2
High Road, Woodford Green, the south-east side, so much of the carriageway fronting Nos 536 to 600 (even) High Road, Woodford Green
as lies between a point 50 metres north-east of the north-eastern kerbline of Barclay Oval and the south-western kerbline
of Aldeburgh Place, including the carriageway linking that carriageway with the main carriageway of High Road, Woodford Green.
Aldeburgh Place
(a) the north-east side, between the south-eastern kerbline of Knighton Drive and a point 12 metres south-east of that kerbline;
(b) the south-west side, between the south-eastern kerbline of Knighton Drive and a point 22 metres south-east of that kerbline.
Belmont Close, both sides, between the south-western kerbline of Knighton Drive and a point 10 metres southwest of that kerbline.
Dale Gardens, both sides, between the north-eastern kerbline of Knighton Drive and a point 10 metres north-east of that kerbline.
Denehurst Gardens, both sides, between the north-eastern kerbline of Knighton Drive and a point 6 metres north-east of that kerbline.
Forest Way
(a) the north-western arm of the island site at the junction with Knighton Drive,

Knighton Drive
(a) the north-east and north-west sides,
(i) between the south-eastern kerbline of High Road, Woodford Green and a point opposite the common boundary of Nos 40 and 42
Knighton Drive;
(ii) between a point 10 metres north-west of the north-western kerbline of Forest Way and a point 12 metres south-east of the south-eastern
kerbline of Forest Way including the triangular island site at the junction with Forest Way;
(iii) between a point 8.5 metres north-west of the northern kerbline of Denehurst Gardens and a point 10 metres south of the southern
kerbline of Denehurst Gardens;
(iv) between a point opposite the common boundary of Nos 18 and 20 Knighton Drive and a point opposite the common boundary of Nos
14 and 16 Knighton Drive;
(b) the south-west and south-east sides,
(i) between the south-eastern kerbline of High Road, Woodford Green and a point 10 metres north-east of the north-eastern kerbline
of Aldeburgh Place.
(ii) between a point 10 metres north-west of the north-western kerbline of Belmont Close and a point 10 metres south-east of the
south-eastern kerbline of Belmont Close;
(c) both sides, between the north-western kerbline of Monkhams Lane and a point 10 metres north-west of the north-western kerbline
of Monkhams Lane.
