THE HAVERING (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (CIVIL ENFORCEMENT AREA) (NO. 1) (AMENDMENT NO. **) ORDER 200*.

THE HAVERING (20 M.P.H SPEED LIMIT) (NO. **) TRAFFIC ORDER 200*

1.  NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Havering, hereinafter called the Council, propose to make the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 84 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

2.  The general effect of the Waiting and Loading Restriction Order would be to introduce waiting restrictions operative “at any time” on the lengths of streets specified in Schedule 1 to this Notice;

3.  The general effect of the 20 MPH Speed Limit Order would be to impose a speed limit of 20 miles per hour on the streets specified in Schedule 2 to this Notice.

4.  Copies of the proposed Orders, of the Order being amended, together with the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders and plans showing the locations and effects of the Orders can be inspected until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders are made or as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders, during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, at the Traffic Engineers Reception, Whitworth Centre, Noak Hill Road, Harold Hill, Romford, Essex RM3 7YA.

5.  Any person desiring to object to the proposals or make other representation should send a statement in writing of either their objection or representations and the grounds thereof to the Traffic Engineers Reception, Whitworth Centre, Noak Hill Road, Harold Hill, Romford, Essex RM3 7YA, quoting reference LBH/502 to arrive by 22 June 2009.

SCHEDULE 1

Durham Avenue, both sides, between the north-western kerb-line of Elvet Avenue and a point 15 metres north-west of that kerb-line;

Elvet Avenue

(a)  both sides, between the north-western kerb-line of Squirrels Heath Lane and a point 15 metres north-west of that kerb-line;

(b)  the north-west side, between a point 20 metres north-east of the north-eastern kerb-line of Durham Avenue and a point 15 metres south-west of the south-western kerb-line of Durham Avenue.

Squirrels Heath Lane, the north-west side, between a point 15 metres north-east of the north-eastern kerb-line of Elvet Avenue and a point 15 metres south-west of the south-western kerb-line of Elvet Avenue.
