THE LONDON BOROUGH OF HOUNSLOW (20 MPH SPEED LIMIT) (NO. 1) ORDER 2009
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Hounslow on 25 May 2009 made the above-mentioned Order under
sections above-mentioned Order under sections 84(1) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
2. The general effect of the Speed Limit Order, which comes into operation on 1 June 2009, will be to impose a speed limit of
20 miles per hour in Brainton Avenue, Feltham, between its junction with Hounslow Road and Durham Road.
3. A copy of; the Order as made; the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Order; a plan which shows the length of road
to which the Order relates, can be inspected on-line at www.hounslow.gov.uk or at the Forms and Documents Counter of the reception
at the Civic Centre, Lampton Road, Hounslow TW3 4DN, between the hours of 8:45am - 5pm Mondays to Thursdays and 8:45am - 4:45pm
on Fridays, for a period of six weeks from the date on which this Notice is published. Further information may also be obtained
by telephoning the Environment Department on 020 8583 3322.
4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or any provision contained therein on the grounds that they are
not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, as amended, or that any of the relevant regulations made
thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was
made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
