B. THE HOUNSLOW (20 MPH SPEED LIMIT) (NO.*) TRAFFIC ORDER 20**
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Hounslow proposes to make the above-mentioned Order under
sections 84(1) and 84(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and introduce road humps under section 90 of
the Highways Act 1980.
2. The general effect of the Traffic Calming Measures is to propose the introduction of an entry treatment in Brainton Avenue
at its junction with Hounslow Road as well as a series of road humps in Brainton Avenue, Feltham between its junction with
Hounslow Road and Durham Road as detailed in Schedule 1 to this Notice.
3. The Council is proposing to impose a speed limit of 20 miles per hour in Brainton Avenue, Feltham between its junction with
Hounslow Road and Durham Road.
4. A copy of; the proposed Order; the Council’s statement of reason for proposing to make the Order; a plan which shows the length
of road to which the Order relates can be inspected, 21 days from the date on which this Notice is published, on-line at www.hounslow.gov.uk
or at the Forms and Documents Counter at the London Borough of Hounslow main reception at the Civic Centre, Lampton Road,
Hounslow TW3 4DN between the hours of 8:45am - 5pm Mondays to Thursdays and 8:45am - 4:45pm on Fridays. Further information

5. Any person desiring to object to the proposed order should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds
thereof to the Director of Environment, London Borough of Hounslow, Civic Centre, Lampton Road, Hounslow TW3 4DN, quoting
the reference TMO/P018/09, to be received by no later than Friday 24 April 2009.
