NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO VARY A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER

Take notice that European Colour (Pigments) Ltd., of 82-86 Nathan Way, West Thamesmead Business Park, London SE28 0AY, is applying to the Environment Agency to vary licence serial no. 28/39/44/34 to abstract water from the chalk aquifer at National Grid Reference TQ 4558 7928 at European Colour (Pigments) Ltd., 82-86 Nathan Way, Thamesmead Business Park, London SE28 0AY. The variation applied for is to increase the licence quantities to be extracted from the borehole from 200,000 cubic metres per year to 325,000 cubic metres per year and 750 cubic metres per day to 1,080 cubic metres per day. Hourly rate of 45 cubic metres to remain unchanged. The water is to be used for industrial process as before. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at European Colour (Pigments) Ltd. Offices, 82-86 Nathan Way, West Thamesmead Business Park, London SE28 0AY, between 29th June and 2nd August 2000. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Water Resources Officer, Environment Agency, Thames Region, Swift House, Frimley Business Park, Camberley, Surrey GU16 5SQ, before the end of the said period.
