NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER

Take notice that Delta Civil Engineering Co., Ltd., of Newtown Road, Highbridge, Somerset TA9 3HX, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from The cut off channel at National Grid Reference TL 691 881 at The Blackdyke Pumping Station, Hockwold cum Wilton, Norfolk. The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 216 cubic metres per hour, 3,456 cubic metres per day, 300,000 cubic metres (per year). The water will be used for Industrial Purposes (Pressure Washing). A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Feltwell Post Office, 3 The Beck, Feltwell, Norfolk IP26 4DB, between 1000 and 1600 hours, from 6th July 2000 to 3rd August 2000. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Bromholme Lane, Brampton, Huntingdon PE18 8NE, before the end of the said period, quoting name of the applicant.
