NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER
Take notice that G. A. Robson & Son, of New Manor Farm, Ings Lane, Carlton, Husthwaite, of Thirsk, North Yorkshire YO1 2BP, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from Ings Beck, at National Grid Reference SE 496 757 in the parish of Carlton Husthwaite, Hambleton, district of North Yorkshire. The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 70 cubic metres per hour; 1,680 cubic metres per day; 45,500 cubic metres between November and March each year. The water will be used to provide reservoir storage for subsequent spray irrigation. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at the above address, between 25th December 1999 and 25th January 2000. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Licensing Section, Dales Area, Coverdale House, Aviator Court, Clifton Moor, Yorkshire YO30 4GZ, before the end of the said period, quoting the name of the applicant.
