NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO VARY A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER

Take notice that Peter John Woodville Harrison trading as The Steventon Estate of Warren Farm, Steventon, Basingstoke RG25 3BL, is applying to the Environment Agency to vary licence serial number 11/42/18.1/17 to abstract water from underground strata (chalk) at National Grid Reference SU 5363 4561 at Warren Farm, Steventon, Basingstoke RG25 3BL. The variation being applied for is to increase quantity of water abstracted from 5,864 cubic metres to 12,000 cubic metres per year (from 18.18 cubic metres to 33.75 cubic metres per day, and from 0.72 cubic metres to 2.3 cubic metres per hour) and to increase area of land. Water to be used for agriculture and private water (domestic use) undertaking purposes for all year round use. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Warren Farm between 10th December 1999 and 10th January 2000. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, The Resource Manager, Colvadene Court, Wessex Way, Colden Common, Winchester SO21 1WP, before the end of the said period.
