Notice of application for a licence to abstract water

Take notice that H. and J. Foskett, of Low Farm, Ufford Road, Bromeswell, Eyke, near Woodbridge, Suffolk IP12 2QB, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from Eyke Common Watercourse, at National Grid Reference TM 304 519, at Low Farm, Bromeswell.   The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 65 cubic metres per hour, 1,560 cubic metres per day, 45,500 cubic metres per year (between 1st November and 31st March inclusive, each year). The water will be used to fill a reservoir for subsequent spray irrigation purposes.   A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Low Farm, Bromeswell, between 12th January 1998 and 8th February 1998 inclusive.   Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Anglian Region, Eastern Area, Cobham Road, Ipswich, Suffolk IP3 9JE, before the end of the said period.
