Notice of application to vary a licence to abstract water

Take notice that Frilford Heath Golf Club Limited, of Abingdon, Oxfordshire, is applying to the Environment Agency to vary licence serial number WRL39/17/123 to abstract water from underground strata (Corallion) between National Grid References SU 443 978 and SU 431 984, at Frilford Heath Golf Club, Frilford Heath and Fyfield, Abingdon, Oxfordshire.   The variation being applied for is spray irrigation for golf courses. The variation will allow winter replenishment of the Club’s reservoir and thus alleviate summer abstraction.   A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Frilford Heath Golf Club, between 7th January and 4th February 1998.   Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Team Leader, Water Resources, Isis House, Howberry Park, Wellingford, Oxfordshire OX10 8BD, before the end of the said period.
