Notice of application to vary a licence to abstract water

Take notice that the Gog Magog Golf Club, of Shelford Bottom, Cambridge CB2 4AB, is applying to the Environment Agency to vary licence serial number 6/33/33/23, which authorises the abstraction of water from National Grid Reference TL 480 542, at the Gog Magog Hills, in the parish of Stapleford.   The variation being applied for is to extend the area of spray irrigation to include the additional 100 acres of land alongside the Wandlebury Estate, which is now developed as a golf course.   A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at the Clubhouse of the Gog Magog Golf Club, between 12th January 1998 and 20th February 1998.   Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Anglian Region, Central Area, Bromholme Lane, Brampton, Huntingdon PE18 8NE, before the end of the said period, quoting the name of the applicant.
