Notice of application for a licence to abstract water

Take notice that Tillers Turf Co. Limited, of Castlethorpe, Brigg, North Lincolnshire DN20 9LG, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from the River Trent between the National Grid References SK 8064 9667 and SK 8081 9694 North of Ravensfleet, in the parish of Wildsworth.   The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 137.5 cubic metres per hour, 3,300 cubic metres per day, and 240,000 cubic metres per year, all year. The water will be used for spray irrigation and private water supply.   A copy of the application and any map, plans or other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Blyton Post Office, 64 High Street, Blyton, Gainsborough DN21 3LA, between Friday, 2nd January and Monday, 2nd February 1998.   Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Trentside Offices, Scarrington Road, West Bridgeford, Nottingham NG2 5FA, before the end of the said period.
